An exercise Stress Echocardiogram is a non-invasive test that combines an echocardiogram (sonogram of the heart) with an exercise treadmill test. Total test time is approximately one hour which includes an exercise time of 5-10 minutes.
Prior to the test, you will receive preparation instructions.
After the test, you will be scheduled for a follow up office visit with Dr. Caldwell to discuss your test results, your progress, ensure that all of your questions are answered, and together develop a plan for your long term continued care.
