Your pacemaker or difibrilator has the ability to communicate through the skin with a programmer we have at Denton Cardiology.
We perform this interogation by placing a wand over your chest where the device is located. It takes only 10 or 15 minutes.
Denton Cardiology evaluates the programming of your device and confirms that the battery and wires (leads) are functioning appropriately.
There are little or no risks of the procedure. During testing you may experience some mild lightheadedness with the interogation and testing of your device.
