An abdominal scan is a test (sonogram) used to detect the location and severity of blockages in the aorta. The test measures the blood flow in the aorta. The scan can can also detect the presence of an aneurysm in the aorta.
Prior preparation is not required for this test.
After the test, you will meet with Dr. Caldwell to review the results,ensure that all of your questions are answered and together develop a plan for your long-term continued care.
