An Event Monitor is a mobile monitoring system that helps to diagnose abnormal heart rhythms over a 7 to 30 day period.It collects data via two ekg leads placed on the skin connected to a cell phone sized monitor to help identify heart rhythm related causes of fatigue, dizziness, weakness, or passing out, a condition known as syncope. After the monitoring period, you will be scheduled for a follow up office visit with Dr. Caldwell to discuss your test results, your progress, ensure that all of your questions are answered, and together develop a plan for your long-term continued care.
