Carotid Duplex Scans are tests that measure the blood flowing through the carotid arteries. The carotid arteries supply blood to the brain. The scan is done on one or both sides of the neck to detect the severity and location of any blockages in these arteries. After the test, you will be scheduled for a follow up office visit with Dr. Caldwell to discuss your test results, your progress, ensure that all of your questions are answered, and together develop a plan for your long-term continued care.
